Remote Solenoids

Remote solenoids used to switch loads from a separate control station, enabling convenient operation of high-current equipment from helm or panel locations. Remote solenoids allow a small helm or control-panel command to energize a larger circuit in another compartment. Compare control-coil draw, contact rating, fail state and wiring length. If remote battery isolation is required, look for devices with the necessary manual override or latching behavior instead of a generic power contactor.
