Intermittent Duty Solenoids

Intermittent-duty solenoids for short-duration switching applications such as starting, momentary controls, and equipment actuation. Intermittent-duty solenoids are designed for short energization, such as engine starting or specific actuator commands. Their duty rating must include the expected on-time and repeat interval. Using them as continuous-contact devices can overheat the coil and shorten service life.
