DC-DC Converters

DC-to-DC converters that step voltage up or down between onboard DC systems, enabling reliable power for electronics and auxiliary loads. DC-DC converters change one DC voltage to another, such as feeding 12V electronics from a 24V vessel bus or stabilizing a sensitive load. Check the input range, regulated output, continuous current and isolation requirement. A converter is not automatically a battery charger; charging requires a device with the appropriate battery-specific profile and safeguards.
