Isolation Transformers

Isolation transformers that electrically separate shore power from onboard systems to improve safety and reduce corrosion-related issues. Marine isolation transformers provide galvanic separation between dockside and onboard AC power when correctly integrated into the safety-grounding and protection design. Match kVA, primary/secondary voltage, phase, frequency, inrush and thermal placement. Isolation can help address corrosion and electrical separation, but installation must follow the applicable marine grounding standard.
