Galvanic Isolators

Galvanic isolators for shore power systems that reduce galvanic corrosion while maintaining the safety grounding path between vessel and dock. Installed in the shore-power grounding conductor, a galvanic isolator blocks low-voltage galvanic currents while allowing the protective grounding path to function during a fault. Specify shore-power amperage, fail-safe monitoring features and compliance with the applicable marine standard. It does not correct stray-current faults or replace a properly engineered isolation transformer when galvanic separation alone is insufficient.
