ELCI Circuit Breakers

Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter breakers that provide whole-boat shore power leakage protection and help meet modern marine safety requirements. An equipment leakage circuit interrupter monitors current escaping from the shore-powered AC system and trips at its specified leakage threshold. It serves a different function from a small-milliamp personnel GFCI receptacle. Selection and placement depend on the vessel's shore-power configuration, applicable ABYC requirements, supply poles and rated current; match associated panels and test provisions accordingly.
