Edge Molding

Protective edge molding used to cover sharp fiberglass, metal, or panel edges and reduce wear on cables, hoses, and nearby surfaces. Use molding where cables, hoses or personnel may contact exposed fiberglass, aluminum or cut panel edges. Select the profile for the actual edge thickness, bend radius and attachment method, ensuring it stays seated in vibration-prone spaces. Edge protection prevents jacket damage at a surface; cable glands or transit systems are still required where a watertight or strain-relieved penetration is needed.
