Cord Grips

Cord grips and cable glands that secure cable entries into enclosures, provide strain relief, and help seal against moisture, dust, and vibration. The correct grip combines a seal around the cable jacket with mechanical strain relief at an enclosure entry. Match the gland’s clamping range to actual outside cable diameter, not conductor gauge; also check PG versus NPT thread, panel thickness and IP/NEMA rating. Nickel-plated brass, aluminum and nylon versions suit different environments and corrosion considerations.
